Crazy Hair Day at Heritage

Marian's school is doing spirit week and the little ones get to participate a few days....today was, as you can see, CRAZY HAIR DAY!

This has got to be one of the sweetest little girls on this planet!
We are so blessed.

Macy's Reading

Macy and I have been working through a reading program since the beginning of Fall and I have really enjoyed watching her learn to read and see her sweet expression when she reads a hard word.  I thought it would be fun (maybe just for the Grandparents and Aunties far away :0) to video her reading during our lesson today. She's a bit of a "performer" since she knows the camera is rolling....she can be such a goof ball! I'm so glad the Lord made her so fun!

Sorry for the camera shake....no we aren't having an earthquake during this! It's just that Macy moves so much and must have been shaking the table a bit...I hated to make her do the lesson all over again just to fix the shake. :0)

Here is a video clip and a few pictures from Marian's game today. So sweet to watch these cuties out there...

Upgraded to an actual basketball shirt. :0)

Sledding Party!

Marian's class earned a sledding party...we had a blast!
Marian wanted to wear a helmet because her teacher mentioned they could bring one. We don't usually put helmets on the kids for sledding, but the hill was super icy and I was glad she had one....although I hadn't brought one for Macy, but she was fine thankfully!

I love to see the progression of this crash...

Thankfully, no tears! :0)

The hill was so icy that they would spin and go down backwards....watching this, I wasn't sure how Macy would respond afterwards.....she is my hesitant one!

Thankfully, she just had this sweet face afterwards....probably because so many "big kids" were watching. :0)

Marian and her teacher....I LOVE her!

Here's what Grammy and Macy did when there wasn't a sled available....what a fun Grammy!

We are so blessed that Grammy only works 2 days now....she can come with us on field trips!

A few dads came and were so great with the kids.
One dad brought this HUGE sled and fit almost the entire class in it.

Marian's First Basketball Game

Marian is playing on a 1st/2nd grade mini-league basketball team through our church, and they had their first game today! It's a super neat outreach ministry through our church and it is a ton of fun! I don't even think they kept score, but I should ask Jon....he probably was in his head. :0) She decided she'd like play kind of last minute, so she didn't have the team shirt yet, but thankfully I'm small enough that she could wear a shirt of mine! :0) She had such a blast and is learning a lot....especially since they only had 2 team practices before this first game.

Here is a video and I'll post a few pictures below....

Team Prayer before the game

Marian was the sweetest little player. She has such a kind little heart that it seemed harder for her to be really aggressive, although she definitely got in there a few times tried to get the
ball. :0)

Guarding from the back. :0)

Future Photographer :0)
Macy was so cute taking pictures the whole game.
She totally wants to be like Mommy with the camera and even asked if she could go take pictures by a bridge.

The Amunruds

Here's another group of people who I just love....(should that have been whom?)
You may remember a post I did a while back about my little photo shoot with Elliana. I LOVE taking her picture. She is so easy to take pictures of, because she smiles the minute you look her way. Well, Elliana has four older brothers who are just as sweet as she is! We went out to do the boys' school pictures. The boys were super great and willing to do whatever I asked.

Josiah

Seth is the same age as Marian and they have been buddies since they were in diapers. :0)
As you can see, Seth has the same "window" that Marian is sporting right now! So cute.

Matthew

Aren't they all just adorable?!

I promised them some silly shots and I ended up really loving this one.

Probably my favorite of all of them. :0)

The Gannons

Here are some pictures from a photo shoot I did recently with our friends Justin and Justine Gannon. These guys mean so much to Jon and I as we discipled each of them through their high school years and now that they are married, they help us in youth ministry as leaders. They are each such amazing people and their love for the Lord completely radiates from them. It is so neat to see how our relationship with them began as a discipleship relationship, but now they are some of our best friends. Being apart of their relationship every step of the way has been more than a blessing to us and taking these pictures was such a neat time to hang out plus rejoice with them in the love for one another the Lord has given to them.
Plus, they love football like we do, and not that loving football is as important as loving the Lord it is pretty important! :0)

Thanks Justin and Justine for your friendship and for letting me drag you all over Bozeman so I could practice. Love you guys!

Doesn't she look like a model, here?!
I had no idea how good she would be at this.
Justin-- you look great too, but sorry your wife is totally stealing the show! :0)

Probably one of my favs, but not only was this a pose, it was a necessity...
poor Justine had on cute shoes with no back and the snow was so deep walking over to this house.

Macy's First Airplane Ride

The girls and I went with Grammy & Grandpa in their airplane on Saturday. Marian has gone up a handful of times, but Macy has always been hesitant to go. Saturday she wanted to go and she was so brave-- not even scared one bit....we are blessed to have such a wonderful pilot in the family! What a treat!

I know we're spoiled rotten to live here....
God's handiwork in His creation is definitely on display in this beautiful valley!

It was freezing....maybe - 8 with the wind-chill or something like that!

Yes, of course "Bear-bear" was there. When we suggested leaving him
behind Macy's eyes filled with tears, and I didn't have the heart to leave
him since Macy was being so brave, and probably felt safer with him.
Plus she had dressed him in a little outfit! :0)
