Last night was crazy hair night for Sparks. Here's what we did with Marian's hair:

She won 2nd place. =)

Marian has no school tomorrow, so here she is heading off to her
first sleep over at a friend's house tonight. =)

Here are a few more from last week as well as a few from this week. =)

Some practice with the camera =)

These next two are of the girls playing "Laura and Almanzo" from Little House.
They said, "Look Mom, this is our wagon and the horses are pulling us!"
They are so creative.=)

Jon and I LOVE playing cards and it's so much fun that our girls can play cards with us now.
Here's some pictures of us playing Crazy 8's the other night!

We welcomed Spring with a big snow storm. =)
We got tons of snow, and it was the perfect "Snowman-making-snow."
The girls each made their own snowman and I only helped a little.

I love this picture! I love how sweet she looks folding her hands.

Marian's frog died Tuesday morning (the day they made the snowmen) so she made a
"Snow-Frog" to honor the late "Blueberry."

After family devotions Monday night.

Spring Break

We had a wonderful Spring Break. Jon was in Haiti, but the girls and I tried to make it a special and fun week together. It might take me a few posts to get it all in, but I'll do my best. =)

Macy helping me with laundry. This is how she gets the clothes
from the washer....

To put them in the dryer. =)
Looks funny, but it is such a great help to me and she LOVES it!
For now at least!

Most of you know how much Marian loves frogs...well, we went to
the Museum of the Rockies to see the Frog Exhibit on Monday and Tuesday.
She was literally beaming the whole time.
Macy really loved it too, of course because she loves anything Marian loves. =)
It was so awesome!

Marian's favorite frog at the exhibit...Waxy Monkey Frogs!

Mr. Waxy Monkey Frog...doesn't it look like a little old man?

We loved all the pioneer displays at the museum...especially because it reminded us so much of Little House on the Prairie.

We celebrated my Mom and Wayne's birthdays over Spring Break,
but I didn't take my camera out at my Mom's b-day (shocking, I know!),
but these are some pictures from our celebration with Wayne.

I am so thankful for my Mom and her relationship with my girls.
These two have such a special relationship.

Happy 50th Birthday Wayne!
(Yes, this is Jon after getting home at 1:30 AM)

Will post a few more later....good night for now. =)

Jill and Davon's Wedding

Here are the pictures from my cousin Jill's wedding. Jill and I grew up very close to one another and were practically joined at the hip when we were young. How special it was to be there when she became Mrs. Jill Thompson. I have no clue how to shoot a wedding, but had a ton of fun giving it my best shot (no pun intended =). Wayne also shot the wedding with me and we sort of "winged it." It was a blast doing it with Wayne. I certainly learned a lot!

These ladies, Jessica Dahlin and Jenna Babani, were so great from Pretty Foo Foo Salon
in Rancho Cucamonga. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Rancho Cucamonga area. I felt pampered just sitting there and I didn't even get my hair done. The Salon is gorgeous....to be honest their furniture was so awesome I wanted to do a photo shoot in there, but we didn't have time!  =)

Mona Betancourt from Kiss N Makeup did Jill's makeup.
She did a fabulous job. I even took a picture of her nails for Macy because they
were super fancy and purple! Two things Macy loves very much.

Jill was so gorgeous she about took my breath away.
I felt like I could just stare at her.

My personal favorite. =)

Davon was a photographer's dream. The "aisle" was probably
half a mile since it was basically the trail down to Crystal Cove
at Newport Beach. He kept posing his way down the aisle for us.

So handsome=)

Another one of my favorites.

Our Uncle Ron did the ceremony. He did a beautiful job.

Lots of full sun and shadows, but we were all so thankful for the
sun since it had rained up until a few hours before the ceremony.

Wishing I had gotten my hair done at Pretty Foo Foo. It was so windy, but Jill's hair
didn't even think about moving!

My Aunt Judy, Mom and Jill at the reception

Sisters...I think this a great shot of them.

Creative Writing Contest

Back in December Marian wrote a story for the Creative Writing Contest at her school. We kind of forgot about the contest, but today she was awarded 2nd place for her age division. I'm so proud of her and she was so excited to be awarded with a pretty journal. She is going to use it to make a "remembrance book" like Laura Ingalls. =) Congratulations Marian!

Team Haiti

Well, we dropped Jon off at the airport in Helena this afternoon. It only took a few Nutter Butter cookies to stop Marian's tears....she's not great with good-byes. =) We would really appreciate your prayers for Jon and his team this week for a neat time of serving the Lord and impacting the Haitian people with the gospel of Jesus Christ! The team is planning to do a variety of work projects as well as some bible clubs with children. You can visit the team's blog for updates if you're interested. Click here to go to the team blog. I'm sure it will take them a few days to give their first update.

As for us girls, we're excited to have a rockin' good time during our "Girls Week." =)

Ahhh the beach....

We made it over to the beach before we flew out on Sunday and soaked up every bit of the sun before heading home.

We definitely don't see too many of these
in Bozeman. =)

This was the weekend of shooting in full sun and getting harsh
shadows, but even I didn't care!
We were just so thankful to be warm and in the beach sun. =)

My best friend...we had so much fun on this trip.
I am so blessed to have my parents so close!
